Pumpkin Days Asten

‘Neptune: Dive into space and the sea!’

… that’s the new theme for Asten’s Pumpkin Days this fall break at Museum Klok & Peel. Have your picture taken as a mermaid or as a real Neptune, admire the “Universum” and “Aquarium” tunnels and discover large pumpkin creations and international gourd art. Participate in one of the workshops, including pumpkin carving, and don’t forget to “gaze at the stars” at the dome of Asten’s Jan Paagman Observatory across the street opposit of the museum. Soak up the cozy atmosphere at the street market with live music, naturally while enjoying a delicious bowl of pumpkin soup.

The largest event in the Benelux in this field

Programm

See, Do & Listen:
The Pumpkin Days aim at children and their parents or grandparents who want to enjoy a fun autumn holiday activity together. A visit to the Pumpkin Days at the Klok & Peel Museum isn’t just about enjoying the beautiful autumn colors, but also about being amazed by the creative uses of pumpkins and gourds, and not least by the delicious dishes you can make with them.
Visitors to the Pumpkin Days can expect fantastic activities for children – such as the popular pumpkin carving – as well as a wonderful mix of seeing, doing & listening.

There are daily activities in the garden and the Orangery you can participate in, some of which require a small fee for the use of materials. There’s no need to register in advance.
